I miss you in Spanish can be said two ways: Te extraño. or Te echo de menos. Both are correct.

    This translation is incorrect.
I miss you mom after I moved out of the house.

But this really says, “I miss you, Mom, now that I’ve moved away from home.

just one more thing, to be clear… te echo de menos is another translation for I miss you, however is more known ¨te extraño¨, because te echo de menos, is more Mexican.

Te echo de menos is really like saying…I am missing you. The context of it would be used when you have a memory of someone as you are doing something the both of you would have done together.

La extraño would be “I miss her”, because la is a female article in spanish, just like her is a female pronoun.

    La traducción más correcta a:

Q:I miss you mom after I moved out of the house.

    Saludos

    Help please. My neighbor/friend
recently exchanged phone #’s for important neighborhood matters. But today is her birthday, so I called to see if she was home, because I wanted to surprise her w/a gift.
I felt bad about calling, so I thought maybe sending a Text will explain.
