How do you say I’ll be twenty-six years old? in German?

Asked by: 6236 views ,

I think it is “Ich werde sechsundzwanzig sein Jahre alt” but I am not sure of the grammar. Please some advice would be great. I need to know where and when the word sein is to fit into a sentence. Thanks.

“Ich werde sechsundzwanzig Jahre alt.” would be enough. ‘sein’, the infinitive of the verb ‘to be’ could also be added at the end for emphasis, but it’s redundant: ‘Ich werde’ already means ‘I will be’.
