Ohaiyo gozaimas! pronounced “oh hi yo, go za ee mas=good morning (up to about 10am or anytime if it is your first meeting of the day and “gozaimas” is optional making the phrase much more ploite).
Konichiwa! pronounced “ko nee chee wa” is hello/good afternoon from approximately 10a-7p.
